And today, we were doing this .....
The summer has flown by at record pace. It seems that we can never cram enough fun into a single summer. Just a few highlights: My sister and her family came for Memorial Day Weekend, my cousin Patrick got married, we saw some cousins from Ohio we hadn't seen in years (Hi, Molly and Daniel), the girls and I went bowling every week, we spent way too much time in Nana's pool, and we laughed and giggled, the summer away.
The end of summer is always a little bittersweet for a mom. On the one hand you hate to see your kids gone so much and really miss them, but on the other hand, if you are like me, you can't wait to get back into some kind of routine.
Anyway, we are so proud of Olivia and Samantha. It seems like just yesterday they were babies and now they are in the 2nd & 5th grade.
Samantha is already enjoying being the "King of the Hill" of the elementary school. It is very exciting to get to sit in the back of the school bus!
Olivia on the other hand just loves school. Her big complaint from yesterday was that they didn't learn anything! Gotta love those brainy girls!

Samantha's in the 5th grade?!? She was just a little girl last I saw her. Your girls are adorable
Such pretty girls! Part of me is so excited for my boys to be old enough to go to school but a bigger part is really nervous about it. One more year for Ty.
