So, we have settles into our house in the small town of Carlisle. So far, we absolutely love it! We are enjoying getting to know the people who live here and exploring the town and shops. Osias is running into tons of people that he hasn't seen since High School. It has been fun for us all.
The girls are settling into their new school and making friends quickly. The seem to like our house and the yard, and really like their rooms with their new beds! All in all, we are loving it here.
The other day, I was driving home from Lexington and I heard the song, "Love Grows Best in Little Houses", by Doug Stone.
Because love grows best in little houses,
With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
By moving here, the girls have learned to play together better and not be so territorial. They have learned quickly that all the space in the house belongs to everyone. They are not fighting as much and seem to enjoy each others company more.
We are so happy in our new home. We can't wait for visitors, so let us know when you want to come by. We would love to have you!

I am a bit envious of you guys! We love our town, our home, our "everything"...but I think I'd really LOVE to live in a smaller town and truly appreciate more of our area! Glad you guys are settling in and enjoying your new house, school, and community!
It is so sad to think that you guys aren't in Lexington anymore. But I totally understand why you moved to the small town. I loved your post with the song lyrics. It gives me something to think about. Miss you guys. I hope that we can actually come see your house sometime.
So fantastic, I am so happy for your family. It just sounds like you guys are doing wonderfully. That is the best news. We are happy for you! :) We do miss seeing you around, though...
